Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026

By using Graveller you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Ride at your own risk

Graveller describes roads and tracks; it does not guarantee they are safe, legal, or passable for you. Surface conditions change, access rules vary, and both the automatic classification and rider ratings can be wrong or out of date. Some segments are inside protected areas or on land with access restrictions. Always check local rules and current conditions, and judge for yourself whether a route is safe to ride. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for obeying the law where you ride.

Your account

  • Keep your login credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and don't impersonate anyone.
  • You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your country to create an account.

Content you contribute

  • Post ratings, comments, and photos in good faith. Don't upload content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share, and don't upload photos of people who haven't agreed to appear.
  • You keep ownership of what you post, but you grant Graveller a non-exclusive licence to store and display it publicly within the service as part of the ratings for a segment.
  • Reported content may be hidden, and accounts that repeatedly abuse the service may be suspended or removed.

Contributions to OpenStreetMap

When you leave a note or confirm a tag-edit suggestion, you are making a real, public, permanent edit to OpenStreetMap under your own OSM identity. You are responsible for the accuracy of edits you submit, and those contributions are governed by OpenStreetMap's own terms and the Open Database License. Only submit edits you believe are correct.

Acceptable use

  • Don't scrape, bulk-download, or overload the service, or attempt to break its security.
  • Don't use the service to harass others or to misrepresent conditions on purpose.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michael Oppitz is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Questions: contact@graveller.app. These terms are governed by the laws of Austria.
